Been a long time since my last post but to bring things up to date.

Sad for me and all who loved her but Leslye died Monday morning at about 2:30 on March 25th.  She fought COPD for over two years in Hospice.  She never quit fighting it, never became bitter, and kept a great attitude throughout.  

If we could have made it to May 23rd, we could have celebrated our 61st anniversary.  With the usual bumps and high spots, we had a great 60-plus years.

Leslye and I decided on cremation and for now, we will not have a  Memorial Service.  If the kids decide to have one once I'm gone, our ashes will be interred a either the Texas Veterans Cemetary outside Kileen or Mission, Texas.

We were blessed throughout our lives and have no real regrets.
