Christmas -2005

We spent Christmas Eve and Day with Jay and Kathy and the kids. The ladies manage to get some shopping in Sat morning and I managed to make a quick trip to one of my favorite computer stores, MicroCenter.

Included of course are a few pictures taken Christmas morning.

Fortunately, it only took two trips to Albertson's for batteries!

I know you all had a great Christmas, now, Have a Happy New Year!!

Rainey's 7th Birthday Party!

Rainey had her 7th birthday party at Planet Pizza in Plano. Great place for a party and there were two other birthday parties going on as Rainey's started. After her's was over, they were starting some more.

They have several rides and of course the obligatory token operated video games where you win tickets. With tickets, they can select tinkets and toys.

Rainey had all her best friends there, from 5 years old to 11, both boys and girls. She really enjoyed being Queen for the Day!

Her friend Sarah, came home with here and they played with the new Barbie things till well after 7 o'clock. Never seem to get bored with those.

LV - 2005

Here's just a few pictures from our trip this past October. Like a dummy, I didn't take very many...I guess I'm thinking, there's always next year. I will regret that one of these days.

These include one of Les and Patty waiting on them to bring our car around at 4 Queens, then one of Michael and Patty at the Canal Street at the Orleans. Also at Canal Street, there is one of a mural that runs the length of the wall, depicting a plantation scene. The lighting on the picture changes from day to night and it is a very interesting backdrop.

There is one looking down from our room to the top of the dome that covers Fremont street from one side of the street to the other and it runs from the Plaza on the west end, to past Fitzgerald's on the east end. The famous light show they show at night is done on the underside of the dome and it is something. Best show in town for the money, as it cost nothing. You can see a person on the street below the dome and it gives you some idea as to the scale.

One last picture is a view looking due north from out room. Somewhere out there is 'Area 51"!
