Just Some Pictures!

Not much to say, other than to describe the pictures!

Got a couple here of two dedicated parents who go on Ryan's Scout campouts, even during the winter. This maybe the one though that they were frozen out and gave up early. Raniey goes too and likes the rough'in it.

There is also one of my annual pictures of the Dogwood Trees, Pear Tree and the Dianthia (sp I'm sure.) They were in full bloom we we got home. The Azalea's aren't in full bloom yet but were sure pretty, adding a lot of color. The Redbuds are in full bloom and they are pretty too.

This past weekend, Kathy and Les drove through the Azalea District here in Tyler and they said it was already beautiful.

Valley Trip

We had a great time on our trip to the Valley this past weekend. We stayed with Michael and Patty but spent the day with Matt and the kids on Sunday. The kids are growing so fast! I think both of them put on an inch or two since Thanksgiving.

Evan had just finished his soccer season and won their last game 8 to 1. Margot has mastered her two wheeler and enjoying the heck out of that.

We managed to visit with our friend Jeannie and her daughter, Natalie, Scott was sick at home in bed. Michael and Patty took us to the Elks Club after that for some good music, all that the first night. The next night, we made a trip to Nuevo Progreso, Mexico for a great dinner at Aurturo's and then did a little shopping. Nice relaxing night.

While there, we made a trip to the Arroyo. Ricky, Michael and Patty's son, (see the picture with his friend J.C.) are off on Spring Break and he was spending the week with his Grandad and Grandma at the Arroyo fishing and crabbing.

Included are pictures of our Grandkids, Evan and Margot, Michael and Patty and Ricky and J. C.

One great, long weekend!!!!

Pic's - March 2006

Just a couple of pictures of Ryan and Rainey taken in the last two weeks. We are heading to the Valley this weekend and will have some pictures of Evan and Margot, if we can catch Margot not looking!

Ryan just finished the poject of selecting which High School he will attend there in Richardson. He has selected their magnet school and finished his interviews and been accepted in all of the classes he wanted. He's a smart young man and it looks like Rainey will follow in his footsteps.

Nick, Holly's son and our nephew, just finished a competetion at the Houston Livestock Show. This was an FFA program in plant identification. His team finished 3rd in the State but Nick, as an individual, finished 1st, winning a beautiful gold and silver belt buckle. Looks like he may be heading to Texas Tech, and if so, he'll have to get himself a pair of cowboy boots to go with his belt buckle.

That's all for now but will have another post when get back from the Valley. Hope it's not over run with Spring Breakers going to South Padre Island.
